A new auto repair shop has opened its doors in Rochester and both of the owners have been familiar faces to many people in the area over the years. Travis Batdorf and Bruce Broin have purchased Kennedy Transmission from the owner, Chris Hooker. On Monday, March 4th, Complete Auto Repair celebrated its grand opening at the location of 4125 22nd Ave NW.
The two owners have a combined 44 plus years in the automotive service and repair business. Batdorf started in the industry more than 18 years ago working at Montgomery Ward’s auto service center once located in Apache Mall. Batdorf’s well known for his service with a smile attitude and his vast automotive knowledge. “I can’t even say how many people have stopped by our business to tell us that they are glad to see that we are here,” Batdorf stated. “We have built a good reputation as straight shooters in the past. I have worked with Bruce Broin for the past four years, we both were at Tilson’s Automotive. We had talked about opening our own shop and decided the perfect time to do this is now. I’ve worked with a lot of good technicians and Bruce is very good at what he does. He is a master certified technician, but that’s just a piece of paper because what he really can do is way beyond that. For many years when others have a car issue they can’t solve they bring it to Bruce. That’s the reputation he has,” added Batdorf.
The name says it all: Complete Auto Repair. “One of the things that we had to overcome at this location is this building was known mostly as a transmission shop. We wanted to seperate ourselves from that, so that’s how we came up with our name. This is a one-stop-shop, we don’t do body work here but anything else under the hood we are glad to take care of. We can’t express enough our appreciation for the customers and friends that have stopped by to say hello. That’s why I got in to this business, I enjoy socializing and also getting things fixed or maintained properly,” Batdorf stated.
With a convenient location, expertise and can-do attitude, Complete Auto Repair is ready to handle automotive needs for you. Phone:(507) 282-7605
