Following on the heels of the Children's Troupe production of My Father's Dragon this weekend is the Words Players Theatre production of King Arthur in Camelot opening March 14.
King Arthur in Camelot fills Words Players winter Jr. Troupe production slot, which has featured Oklahoma!, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Pirates of Penzance in recent years.
The cast of 37 have been in rehearsal since the end of January, fitting together various scenes and songs for an original presentation. The final story will be told in the natural way that kids tell stories, and will reflect the collaborative work of the cast.
There will be knights defending good, sword play, music, energy and, basically, kids having a great time playing at the tale of King Arthur. All in and among the audience.
Enjoyed by all ages.
Directed by Zechary Novinger and Daved Driscoll.
