Rochester, MN — Some local supporters are hosting Southeast Minnesota’s “Biggest Singles Party and Dance” on February 15, at the Rochester International Event Center, with all proceeds to benefit Channel One Regional Food Bank. Tickets to the event are $10 per person.

Channel One Regional Food Bank and Food Shelf, a certified member of Feeding America, is a non-profit organization that serves the mission “to work in partnership with others to help feed people in need.” In fiscal year 2011-2012, Channel One Regional Food Bank and Food Shelf distributed approximately eight million pounds of food to those in need in Southeast Minnesota and La Crosse County in Wisconsin.

“The party will include a lot of incredibly fun games and great dance music,” said one of the organizers. “Bring your friends and have the time of your life! You never know who you’ll meet while also helping feed our community members in need.”

The event will be held at the Rochester International Events Center and is open to everyone 21 years and older. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with the dance and party being held from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. A post-party will be held at the Ground Round, next to the Events Center in Rochester. Party tickets will get guests half price on any appetizer and other savings. One lucky guest will also win a 3-day, 2- night stay in Las Vegas as a grand prize.
