Theresa A. DiFiore, age 90, of Spring Valley died Sunday October 28, 2012 at St Marys Hospital following a lengthy repertory illness.
Theresa A. DiFiore was born October 25, 1922 in Jersey City, N.J. to Benjiman and Mary Shindlo. She grew up in Jersey City and attended school there.
Theresa worked as a nursing assistant in Jersey City Medical Center in her early years. She later was a stay at home house wife and mother of six children. She moved to Minnesota in 1985.
Survivors include four daughters and a son; Coletta (Leslie) Nirdlinger of New Orleans, Antoinette Arrow of Altoona, PA, Anthony (Myong) DiFiore of Debary, FL, Theresa (Dick) Harreld of Spring Valley, MN and Connie (Jack) Harker of Crème Ridge, NJ: 17 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one son.
Mrs. DiFiore has been cremated and a private family committal service at St Ignatius Catholic Cemetery in Spring Valley will take place at a later date.
