On September 7, 2012, Somsak Kunthawong, 28 of Lino Lakes, Minn. appeared before Judge Jodi L. Williamson at the Olmsted County District Courthouse. A previous court decision was amended, and he was sentenced for Traffic DWI- Operate Motor vehicle under influence of alcohol. He was given 51 months at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility.
James John Goetsch, 21 of Eyota, Minn. appeared before Judge Christina K. Stevens on September 10, 2012. He received a stay of imposition for Damage to Property- 1st Degree- Value reduced over $1,000. He was given five years supervised probation, 60 days local confinement, which was stayed for five years, and 50 hours community service.
Andrew Jason Jacobs, 31 of Rochester, also appeared before Judge Stevens. He was convicted of Burglary in the 3rd Degree-Steal and given a stay of imposition. He received five years supervised probation, 102 days local confinement with credit for 102 days served, and 50 hours of community service.
Andrew David Miller, 22 of Winona, was convicted of Assault in the 3rd Degree- Substantial Bodily Harm. He was given five years supervised probation, 60 days local confinement, and 50 hours of community service. He was also convicted of Drugs in the 5th Degree, Possess Schedule 1,2,3,4 – not a small amount of marijuana. He was given five years supervised probation concurrent with the other case.
Gregory Mark Soukup, 40 of Racine, was convicted of Overwork/Mistreat Animals- Cruelty. He was given a stay of imposition, four years supervised probation, local confinement for 45 days, and 50 hours community service.
Brian Richard Betts, 38 of Rochester, received a Statutory Stay of Adjudication for Drugs in the 5th Degree- Possess Schedule 1,2,3,4- not a small amount of marijuana. He was sentenced to five years of supervised probation.
Reginald Dwayne Clark, 41 of Rochester, was convicted of Criminal Sexual Conduct – 1st Degree- penetration or contact with person under 13-actor >36m older on February 7, 2011. On September 10, 2012, he was sentenced to 333 months at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility and must register as a sex offender. He was also convicted of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the 2nd Degree- Victim under 13- Actor >36 months older. He was sentenced to 140 months at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility concurrent with the other charge.
Rey Phao Khammavongsa, 21 of Rochester, was convicted of Assault in the 3rd Degree- Substantial Bodily Harm. He was given a stay of imposition, five years supervised probation, 100 hours community service, and 90 days local confinement. He was also convicted and given a stay of imposition for Terroristic Threats- Reckless Disregard Risk, and received five years probation concurrent with the other case.
Jordan Alan Williams, 23 of Rochester, was given a statutory stay of adjudication for Drugs in the 5th Degree- Possess Schedule 1,2,3,4- not a small amount of marijuana.. He was given five years supervised probation and 50 hours community service.
Jennifer Megan Waas, 19 of Eyota, Minn., received a statutory stay of adjudication for Drugs in the 5th degree- possess schedule 1,2,3,4- not a small amount of marijuana. She was given five years supervised probation, 40 days home monitoring, and 50 hours of community service.
Nazareno Castro, 26 of Rochester, was convicted of Domestic Abuse on September 13, 2012. He was given a stay of imposition, five years supervised probation, 30 days local confinement with credit for three days served, 60 days home electronic monitoring, and 100 hours community service.
Adam Frederick Knaup, 32 of Rochester, was convicted of Possess Pornographic Work- computer disk/electronic/magnetic/optical image with porn. He was given a stay of imposition, five years supervised probation, 30 days local confinement with credit for one day served, and must register as a predatory offender.
Angela Patrice Lewis, 40 of Claremont, Minn., was convicted of Financial Transaction Card Fraud. She was given a stay of imposition, five years supervised probation, 45 days electronic home monitoring, and 50 hours community service. She was also convicted of Theft by Swindle, and received ten years supervised probation, 45 days electronic home monitoring, and 50 hours community service concurrent with the other case.
Emmanuel Isaac Tut, 32 of Rochester, was convicted of Assault- 3rd Degree- Substantial Bodily Harm. He was sentenced to the St. Cloud Correctional Facility for 21 months and must pay restitution fees of $2,004.64.
