Have you ever talked to an otter before? Well now’s your chance! Kids and adults of all ages can meet Zumbro Zoe, the Zumbro Watershed Partnership’s “SpokesOtter” from 12-2 p.m. on March 24-25 at the Healthy Green Living Show at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester.
Zoe talks about how everyone can do their part to keep our river cleaner and safer for people and animals. When you get to the show, look for the Zumbro Watershed Partnership’s booth. You can download a free ticket to the show at the ZWP website: www.zumbrowatershed.org.
On Sunday, March 25 at 12:00, be sure to catch “The Amazing Slow the Flow Clean Water Show” where you can get a crash course in the “Three Laws of Water” and learn inexpensive, simple, and free ways to make our landscapes and rivers cleaner and healthier by slowing the flow of rainwater on its way to the Zumbro River.
For more information, contact Kevin Strauss, Education Coordinator at 507-993-3411, or education@zumbrowatershed.org.
