Stewartville resident receives Employee of the Year Award from Goodwill/Easter Seals

St. Paul, MN - Stewartville resident Theresa Hornberg has been recognized by Goodwill/Easter Seals Minnesota as an Employee of the Year for 2012. She received the Living our Values award, based on several nominations by her coworkers.

The award recognizes someone who:

•Demonstrates commitment to the organizational mission and values

•Accepts and values differences among people

•Helps create an environment of inclusion and collaboration, where people can contribute their unique abilities

James Churchill, General Manager of the Rochester Goodwill says, “We are very lucky to have Theresa on our team. She is an extremely hard worker, is detail oriented and always does her best to help raise employee morale. She is truly a pleasure to work with. I can’t think of anyone who deserves this award more than she does.”

Hornberg was one of only eight people among Goodwill/Easter Seals’ team of 1,500 employees to be honored with an individual award. She joined the organization in 2009 and currently works as an Office Support Specialist at the Goodwill store in Rochester.

The Goodwill store in Rochester is open Monday-Friday 9am-9pm, Saturday 9am-8pm and Sunday 11am-6pm. It is located at 239 28th St SE in Rochester, MN.
